主な撮影分野は自然風景、自然と対峙する人間、環境保護など多岐にわたる。米国立スミソニアン自然史博物館、ロンドン自然史博物館、世界大都市気候先導グループ会議、国連気候変動枠組条約締約国会議において環境をテーマとした作品を展示。ドイツ博物館やロンドン自然史博物館発行誌、LensCulture誌ほか国内外のメディアに掲載されている。 Monochrome Photography Awards / ランドスケープ・フォトグラファー・オブザイヤー、Paris Photography Prize, PX3 / 野生動物部門金賞・地球写真部門金賞、LensCulture Earth Awards / 単一写真部門2位入賞、ナショナルジオグラフィック国際フォトコンテスト / 自然部門入賞、ワイルドライフフォトグラファー・オブザイヤー/ Highly Commendedなどを受賞。

近年は環境問題の記事を新聞にて連載、写真にまつわるエッセイ、写真や映像などを国内外のメディアに発表。そのほか、冒険家 荻田泰永氏と若者たちの600kmに渡る北極圏遠征に同行。文明と野生の衝突地帯に生きるオランウータンのリハビリテーション風景の作品発表を継続的に実施。神奈川と北海道礼文島を撮影拠点としながら、国内外の雑誌や広告撮影をしている。

A photograph he took of a crow’s nest that was constructed from wire hangers in Tokyo was exhibited as one of the environmentally themed works at the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP21). He has also been making and showing photographic works documenting rehabilitation of orangutans living in an area where civilization and the wild are at odds. In 2019 he accompanied the adventurer Yasunaga Ogita and a group of young people on their 600 km Arctic expedition, documenting the trip in photos and on film. Works from this trip were presented by media outlets including National Geographic and NHK. His work covers a broad range of topics, including natural landscapes, confrontations between humans and the environment, and environmental conservation. Works have been exhibited at places like the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History and the C40 World Mayors Summit. They have also appeared domestically and internationally in publications by such institutions as Deutsches Museum, the Natural History Museum in London, and LensCulture.
